Every project begins with a question rather than a solution. My research explores the environmental, cultural and technical challenges behind landscape architecture, helping me transform evidence into meaningful design decisions.

Research Themes

My research is not separate from my design practice. Every investigation, proposal and publication explores a real landscape question, from climate resilience and community identity to water-sensitive urban design. Together, they form the evidence behind my design decisions.

MY REFELCTION

}

How can landscape respond to real-world challenges?

landscape strengthen cultural identity?

Today I pay greater attention to local stories, daily activities and cultural continuity before developing spatial proposals. Community identity grows from everyday relationships between people, water and place, rather than from symbolic design alone.

How do ideas become real projects?

It changed the way I think about technical delivery and interdisciplinary teamwork. A comprehensive landscape design practice depends not only on creativity, but also on clear collaboration, practical planning and professional decision-making.

Water become part of public life

This thinking later informed my climate adaptation projects and strengthened my interest in blue-green infrastructure. Water should not simply be managed—it can also create ecological value, social interaction and memorable places.

What connects these explorations?

Although these studies explore different topics, they all ask the same question: How can landscape create meaningful relationships between people, place and environment?

A collection of questions, investigations and reflections that continue to shape how I observe, think and design landscapes.
Together, these explorations have shaped the way I think as a landscape architect, from understanding people and place, to designing resilient systems, and ultimately translating ideas into deliverable landscapes.
